The Arabesque Coffee Table concept was designed to create a family of products under the Arabesque title for a mock product release with the Mark Tuckey furniture company. communication was made with the team at Mark Tuckey to use their brand logo and information alongside this concept.
In keeping with the Mark Tuckey design ethos the Arabesque coffee table concept is made almost entirely from solid timber which has been formed and shaped to create striking forms that look solid yet light whilst remaining cosy and hearty in construction and aesthetics.
A single Galvanised steel pipe and fittings are used to create a swivel point between the Maxi-Film top and the swivelling base. The base allows for adjustment to suit seating arrangements - switching from a single straight coffee table into one that supports an L shape seating setup for group events or general home use.
