Set design work was contracted by the drama department of Melbourne Girls Grammar School for their production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
For this work an Oversized Wardrobe was required that could be rolled around the stage as needed on casters.
To make this effective and easy for the student run production, a full timber construction was not suitable and thus a face sheet for a simple form on casters was created from MDF. The design of which is roughly based on the original prop from the film.
